I'm a Montana artist and nature lover living in Big Sky.

Inspired daily by the wild beauty of the mountains that surround me,
I am often filled with visions of paintings far more numerous than the hours I have available to paint.

Though my formal training includes just one college painting class while attaining a degree in Graphic Design, I’ve embraced a self-taught path, developing a distinctive style that blends vivid color and raw texture with imagery of animals or abstracted landscapes. My process is intuitive and experimental, combining palette knife work and modeling paste to create texture, dripping techniques using a spray bottle or spray paint, layering saturated and transparent hues, and expressive mark-making. I often start a painting without knowing what it will be, each piece becoming a journey of discovery driven by feeling and flow. Through my work, I aim to capture the spirit, energy, and quiet magic of nature.

In addition to creating original art, I use images of my artwork to create functional, colorful products like hats, totes, stickers, notecards, calendars, tapestries and more — available through my website, art fairs, and the Big Sky Farmers Market during the summer.

I also love connecting within community by teaching paint parties in Big Sky and Bozeman.

Features

I currently have art displayed at Beehive Basin Brewery and the Big Sky Artists’ Collective Studio & Gallery in Big Sky Town Center, as well as at Westward Social and the Montana Dinner Yurt at Big Sky Resort.

My work has been featured in Explore Big Sky and Big Sky Life, and can be found covering local utility boxes around town. I have also completed several murals in Big Sky and Bozeman, one of which was a collaboration with Big Brother Big Sisters and can be found behind the Paint Pot on the South facing wall of Western Plumbing in Bozeman.

For the last five years I have had the opportunity to have my work featured

in the Arts Council of Big Sky's Auction for the Arts as part of the silent auction.

In the summer of 2018, I was chosen along with two other talented Bozeman artists

to have my work featured as wrapped outdoor murals on the exterior of the

South Rows condominiums, a new development off of South 19th in Bozeman.

More information about that project can be found at

In the spring of 2019, I collaborated with PROBAR to create limited edition packaging

for a special box of their meal bars in which part of the proceeds of each box go to

support the US Ski & Snowboard teams. More information about that collaboration

can be found at https://theprobar.com/us-ski-and-snowboard/

In December of 2019 I had a solo gallery show at ZOOT ART GALLERY in Bozeman, MT.

In December 2019 I was voted Best Artist in the Best of Big Sky awards.
